At the Export to pdf dialog box, go to the marks & bleeds section where you check the crop marks box, and set the bleed to your desired size
I'm sorry but I don't understand how to use the bleed, slug and crop features.
I would have thought I could specify a page be 7 x 7 and have crop marks that are 7 x 7. And then I could set the bleed marks to be 0.5 inches out each way resulting in a bleed.
But if this is the case, I am doing something wrong. Because changing the bleed seems to do the opposite. Obviously, I'm confused here about how this works. Any ideas?
To identify which is which, try checking only the crop mark, uncheck the rest. then try increasing the offset size. once you're satisfied about how this works, export the pdf again, changing the bleed size. then export the pdf again, this time checking the bleed marks box. spot the difference
Got it. Thanks very much
