    Premiere Elements 9 memory leak

    marjamstar@aol.com

Operating system Window 7 64-bit. Using Premiere Elements 9 after loading a project task manager shows memory continuously increasing and eventually Elements slows to a crawl. Has anyone else seen this problem and is there a fix for it?  One site said to disable elements autoanalyzer, but couldn't find it in any of the menus.  HELP

I can confirm that autoanalyzer did at one time have a memory leak with PrE 9.    Autoanalyzer options configured in the Organizer.  Hit the menu and submenus Edit / Preferences / Media-Analysis.  Make sure to uncheck both Analyze Photos for People Automatically and Analyze Media for Smart Tags Automatically.  Click on OK.  Shut down PrE and Organizer and reboot just to make sure the process cleanly goes away.

The memory leak was fixed with PrE 10.
