CS5 shuts down everytime I access Pixel Bender Gallery then Oil Paint"

CS5 shuts down every time I open Pixel Bender Gallery_"Oil Paint" selection only.  I've spent most of the day trying to use the Pixel Bender plug-in that's located in CS5 FILTER Menu.  I am on an iMac OS X--Snow Leopard.  The time I didn't spend on rer-opening CS5 I used trying to find the way to ask a question.  Yes, I know that's lame
, but I'm 66 yrs old so don't yell at me!

I won't yell at you but I do need more information. Does Photoshop or the OS give you a crash log after the crash? What graphics card (GPU) are you using in your iMac? What are the dimensions in pixels of the images you are trying to process with the OilPaint filter? It sounds like this problem only happens with the OilPaint filter, is that correct?

The crash log is from Photoshop; yes, this problem only happens with
"oil paint Filter"; pixel dimensions are 432-width x 288-height (resolution is 72)  The only info I can get about GPU is:

Chipset Model:          NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT

              Type:          GPU

              Bus:          PCIe

              PCIe Lane Width:          x16

              VRAM (Total):          128 MB

              Vendor:          NVIDIA (0x10de)

              Device ID:          0x0395

              Revision ID:          0x00a1

              ROM Revision:          3022

(I obviously copied that from the "about this MAC" section but it's the only thing that refers to a GPU--I know I didn't buy one--did I?)    Thoughts?
