What is preferred is to find the person's profile page and then paste that link into your report, so the moderator who reads there may lock the account and not just delete a message

able123 Oct 15, 2011 12:12 PM (in response to able123)George Carlin once did a little comedy routine about how xxx movies really make him ANGRY !
In nutshell, he says ...
He's watching this really pretty girl winking at him and blowing kisses and looking really hot and then she starts taking off her clothes while still winking at him and pretty soon he is thinking, " wow, this girl REALLY LIKES ME, and she starts doing things that make him feel like he likes HER a lot toooo...and all of a sudden some strange guy comes into the frame and starts making love to HIS GIRLFRIEND...and THAT REALLY MAKES ME ANGRY !

Bill Hunt Oct 15, 2011 4:10 PM (in response to Stan Jones)Stanley,
This has happened to me a couple of times. Not sure how the PM I.D.'s get harvested, but sometimes they do.
In one instance, everyone, who had responded to any thread in the PrElements forum, got the PM (and I thought that she only had eyes for me... ). Other times, it seems to be very localized.
Fortunately, it has not happened that often, but is disconcerting, that PM I.D.'s CAN be harvested.
Good luck, and let us know how the first date goes...

Is that a typo on Justina's part? Should that NOT be an "unhealthy friendship?" I know that it would be, if my wife ever got hold of her!

able123 Oct 15, 2011 7:05 PM (in response to Bill Hunt)yeah, you guys .... keep your mitts OFF.... SHES MINE ! SHE SAID SO !!!!
I just had to send a $1000 money order to Bankok made out to her grandfather ( head of family ) ...which is customary in that culture she said...so I could get her official picture...which she promised to send as soon as my money order cleared... once I have the official " family approved" picture its as good as " going steady". I already saw a unofficial picture and wow...what a goldmine !

John T Smith Oct 16, 2011 8:33 AM (in response to able123)That must be a really old style family, having you send a money order
The latest thing for "modern" families is for you go give your back account number and bank routing code for direct deposit... er, withdraws

Mitchell Lopez Oct 16, 2011 8:51 AM (in response to Stan Jones)Rod,
I am very happy for you, finding your perfect women. And it would be very charitable of you to send the grandfather $1000.
I’m so touched by your story, I’ve decided to help you out, by giving you the $1000.
You see, I will soon be incredibly wealthy, and $1000 means nothing to me. I’ve been contacted via email, that I will be receiving 25 million USD, from Nigeria. I only have to send a small money order, for processing fees.
In fact, I’ve received about 4 different messages that I am getting large sums of money. I think I will soon be getting over 100 million USD. After I get my hundreds of millions, I will then send you the check for your girlfriend.

As requested I sent the money order for $1000 made out to cash ( The family name of "cash" is an old Bankok family they said ) to the P.O. box address they gave me...
Im not so DUMB that I'd send my bank acct number, routing number and security code !!!!

able123 Oct 16, 2011 11:38 AM (in response to able123)I dont know why its so " private" ...this matching of wonderful people in serious long lasting relationships...
It was going on publicly in the 1800's in the wild west...
http://bustlesandspurs.blogspot.com/2009/04/mail-order-brides-and-grooms-in-late.html
and a lot of really great bonds were made out there...and we have tons of great great grandchildren in the west now to attest to that fact...
for example, Bill Hunt, who worked out west in the early days .. and spent many a weekend rustling up some wild horses for sale back east....after breaking them in and " taming them" for the less rugged easterners....( see photo of Bill below ) ....knows many western families who got started with the " mail order" bride thing...

17. Re: Thanks for the Private Message
John T Smith Oct 16, 2011 2:10 PM (in response to able123)Not only that... such was the scarcity of women in frontier towns in the 1800's that it was not all that uncommon for some "public" women to switch over to "private" life (at least, so it was said on a History Channel program)

18. Re: Thanks for the Private Message
able123 Oct 18, 2011 11:59 AM (in response to John T Smith)Im really bummed out... my so-called " girlfriend" is either in real big trouble ( kidnapped or something ) or else she has "skipped town" as they say...
WITH my money order cashed in and in her purse....or in the hands of the kidnappers.
I called the post office in Bankok ( which cost me a ton of money to finally get through with an interpreter there whom I had to pay a lot for ) and the PO box is no longer in use, they say.
Also the name of the post office box previous owner and the name of my girlfriend dont match at ALL. And there's no way to trace the person who had the PO box.
Local police ( I am told by the post office clerk ) are " baffled " .
So if you hear from my girlfriend let me know OK ??? As far as I'm concerned I will just play some of those old songs from the 60's and get through this horrible disappointment ( with your help of course ).
Songs like, " Too Many Fish In The Sea "

able123 Oct 18, 2011 1:50 PM (in response to John T Smith)John,
Funny you should mention the " circus" at this point....
I'm not thinking about the current political posturing and party stuff re: gop debates and bloombergs response to wall st protesters etc.... ( as that would take way more energy and time to set straight ... I mean, really...the guy makes ONE DOLLAR per year and changed the law to run for this term he's doing... and if anyone thinks the man has integrity or intelligence re: social political community things has got to be a way backward clam IMO )
anyway, now that you mentioned " circus" I'm thinking " film biz "... and media for episodic and feature length stuff and even the art festivals ( cannes, etc. )... and what is going on with the merged global distribution and all that stuff....
WE NEED TO MAKE IT BETTER... every day... even in the big tent....as a worker in the big tent...nobody owns it...it is really a whole process and very complicated and each individual can add value and change things for the better. Go ahead...laugh and be snooty you who stand outside on the sidelines in hair shirts.... and change the world ...
All you do is make is worse by thinking nobody else is as smart as you and stand aside and let others fight your battles for you, and then laugh... like some little girl. Disgusting.
is beer thirty and why is my one tooth dragon avatar still pending ? I need to find a girl and that just might be the avatar I need !
ps... please understand, when I type the word " you " I mean that as if it means " one so does " or " one acts this way"..meaning ' u ' in the extremely general sense of the word...not directed at any individual at all ....it doent mean YOU... it means..." a person "....
had to say that cause when I get on a run with typing my feelings I dont format the stuff all that great ...
It especially bothers me that someone I love , like, respect, etc might misunderstand my ranting and so on...

25. Re: Thanks for the Private Message
Bill Hunt Oct 29, 2011 11:52 AM (in response to able123)"Mail order brides" have been around for many decades, at least in the US. Going back to the early days of New Orleans, when many "potential brides" were sent to the colony, as Casket Girls (see spellings, etc.). These were young ladies of good repute, and were sent, in hopes that they would marry. Interestingly, there were, at the time, about 10,000 prostitutes in New Orleans, but only about 12 official Casket Girls sent over. All of the prominent local families traced their heritage to those 12 young women, but apparently, not one of the prostitutes ever bore a child... as no ONE family ever traced its lineage to any. Hm-m-m, guess that those were 12 very prolific young ladies.

===============
Interestingly, there were, at the time, about 10,000 prostitutes in New Orleans, but only about 12 official Casket Girls sent over.
============
Those days are also intertwined with the migration ( so to speak ) of western expansion of the country.... like, basically, keep moving west .... get land by virtue of just "going there" and trying to farm etc... or raise cattle , horses to break and ship back east or to army ... all that " zane gray" type stuff...( early zane gray.. from Ohio valley and PA and Kentucky and down south...to the west ... to Texas etc )
what an interesting history... and fur trade, river traffic, Mexican vs Indian stuff, lots of movement and adventure.
Any girl coming here for whatever reason ... has my admiration for her bravery let alone the situation ( basically couldnt vote, own property, contest husbands re: divorce issues, all that stuff ).. girl could be mistreated at home and that was actually " better" than being divorced or widowed... odd stuff going on... But at least the " wild west" usually ( out of not just moral issue but some need to keep civilization intact ) respected women and wouldn't put up with their being murdered and disrepected in towns out there in the wild.
Weird, how nowadays they ( women ) have the same problems in some countries re: rights and status... and in some cases its now the opposite... where women have MORE protection in courts re: child custody and alimony and so on than men in divorce proceedings... based on " kids and mom belong together" and men pay the price for it no matter who screwed up the marriage.
In my opinion, if some chic wants to meet me and obviously loves me ( even though we haven't met yet ), I am totally willing to send a $2000 money order made out to cash to a post office box in Thailand to make that happen....
I mean, after all, who couldn't love a one toothed dragon ???

28. Re: Thanks for the Private Message
Bill Hunt Oct 29, 2011 8:46 PM (in response to able123)Actually, those young ladies predated "Western expansion," as there were but a few settlements in what we now call New England. The thought of expaning into much of what we now know as the US, were not even dreams - yet.
Still, I do agree with you. Considering how many potential colonists had perished, up to that time, it would be a very tough call - go to New Orleans, and get married to one of the settlers. Yeah, right!
For the founding families of New Orleans, I guess that it was a good thing, that all of the 10K prostitutes turned out to be totally infertile. Who knew????
Just look at the days, before the Casket Girls, and all of the potential colonists, who never reported back. John Law's Mississippi Bubble was but one of the many failed attempts. The East had many, that ended badly too. Things sounded quite good, and Europe was having major problems, but then the New World had many more, and some that the Europeans had never considered, like Edwin Edwards being re-elected as governor of Louisana... I mean, who knew?
Still, those few Casket Girls fathered (or "mothered") ALL of the prominent families of Louisiana, and especially New Orleans.
Hey, at least some things have not changed, over the centuries. I mean the Casket Girls were not allowed to drive, just like many countries today!!!!

Bill, you mean New Orleans was around before Daniel Boone ?? Who knew ?? !
I mean, geez... didnt Napoleon need some money to continue slaughtering everyone in Europe and Russia and SELL that stuff down there to some U.S. president in secret.. and THEN THATS WHEN people moved to New Orleans ??? Like around 1812 ???
My history lessons seem to have been less than perfect up here in nyc...

Bill Hunt Oct 30, 2011 10:31 AM (in response to able123)Yes, New Orleans has been around for a LONG TIME. I think that all of the streets were constructed by about 1701, and have not been patched since then... Shortly after the city was founded, corrupt politicians found it, settled in, and never left.
Biloxi, just 90 miles East of NOLA, is a bit OLDER. Corrupt politicians settled there early too.

able123 Oct 30, 2011 2:44 PM (in response to Bill Hunt)Well.. at least they have great fish to eat down there... so those corrupt politicians have big brains... ( eveyone knows that fish food is good for brain power ! )
Bertie Wooster used to attribute his butler " Jeeves" great brain power to Jeeves' love for a fish diet !
Those guys that did the old pbs tv " Jeeves and Wooster" series were great... now " Wooster" is doing " House" I think... don't watch it... but he was really great as " Bertie". I wish he and his friend ( the guy that played Jeeves ) would get together and so some more Wodehouse stuff...
One of my dreams.... to see them sink their teeth into some funny but socially relevant stuff... , " What ? "

35. Re: Thanks for the Private Message
able123 Oct 30, 2011 4:29 PM (in response to Bill Hunt)the crooked politicians ARE THE LOCALS .. eating fish ! and having big brains from eating all that FISH !
What do you think the local politicians DO ??? move from somewhere else and start talking nonsense to the locals ??? They ALL HAVE BIG BRAINS down there... I witnessed this when at fort Polk...in 1969. When I got drafted from NYC ( fort Hamilton )... the gist of it being that I would become a helicopter pilot ( warrant officer ) and train in Fort Polk " tigerland" swamp stuff simular to Vietnam sorta ( at least re: lots of snakes and giant moths )... and hang out with really big brained people so we wouldn't get KILT in country the first 30 seconds we got there.
The big deal was, far as I could figure it out , to WIN THE WAR. Unfortunately it wasn't a war but a police action.. and it wasn't meant to do ANYTHING except protect oil fields offshore that belonged to EXXON etc....basically protect commercial interests re: natural resources and corp investments ( big money ) and China's fight for control over the same territory ( they are now doing the same thing now .... we are too ).
This cost a lot of lives... and we ( me in particular ) are pissed off about the ********.. as we go " global" with the money... and to be honest.. there is no where to get away from the problem...
The only solution I see at this point is that we all just say " NO " ... like we all just say NO.... and don't kill anyone anymore for some company profits.
If I need to kill someone cause they are trying to kill my family in Elmont NY...fine... I can do that. But please give me a break... I don't need to go to some stupid desert in the middle of nowhere to kill some idiots who I don't even care about. And if they come here to try to hurt me and my neighbors...I can stop that at the airport.. believe me... not a problem. Luckily I eat a lot of fish and have a big brain... and this gets simple when you have a big brain.

able123 Oct 30, 2011 4:48 PM (in response to able123)ps.. I just turned off the heat on my " world famous" chili verde...the broth part of it.. and boy, it SMELLS GOOD !
But if I ate that now I would get bloated and fat and probably sick.... like...remember when George Washington was leading his troops through PA ( as a British officer ) to fight the indians at XXX river fort ( probably built by one of Zane Gray's relatives ? )
This is where my history lessons get a bit muddled... like how long New Orleans has been around... so many things happening at the same time...it's confusing sometimes.
Sooo, you got indians chopping off heads of white people and you got white people chopping off heads of indians.. and meantime nobody is really " white" or " indian" when you get right down to it... unless you're an idiot... in which case, welcome to the world of the " supernormal " or " supernatural " and " zombies " ... YAHOOO ! What FUN !!!!
