that will be tough to do (and look good) without having the input text completed: placing the letters in an arc as you're typing would probably cause the letters to fill only part of a hemi-ellipse (as shown in your sample) or maybe excede a hemi-ellipse.
if the letters can be placed along an arc after input is complete, the task is easier to accomplish with a satisfactory appearance.
thnks for your reply..
Thats enough, after complete typing we can show the text in curve path means !
Can you tell me how it is possible...??
Can you send me any samples ???
you can use something like the following where you have a movieclip that contains a textfield with instance name tf and has linkage id = tfmcID.
i used an onChanged handler for the input textfield so you can see the effect of changing various parameters:
and the parameters used in hemiEllipseF() are the string to be "arced", the _ and _y of the arc's start position and the lengths of the ellipses x and y axes.
its seems my target shape now.
thanks a lot.
But, i tried to rotate each clip slightly according to the positions , but i cant.
Please help me..
If you see my sample picture, you can understand what i am trying to do..
thanks in advance....
I am waiting for your help...
make sure you embed your font and the effect of using a rotation will effect the positioning of the textfields unless they have their registration point at their left:
thank a lot kglad..... :)
one more help..
Now, the curve is moving towards the top.
what i have to do to move the curve downwards.
hope, there should be a change in the math functions.
i am totally weak with these math functions kglad.
