I would like to change InDesign CS5.5's default first baseline - offset option to be "Cap Height" rather than "Ascent". This option is found under Text Frame Options > Baseline Options > First Baseline > Offset.
I am currently manually setting this option for each text frame in my publication. I would love for this to be the default option for every new text frame that I create.
Defaults are created by changing settings with nothing selected. Do this with a document open and you are changing the default for that document. With no files open it becomes the default for new documents. No changes affect anything already exisiting.
Thank you Peter. I was 99% confident that there was no way to get to the text frame options without a file open, but it turns out I was 100% wrong, haha.
