Calling a static method in Java

    AndyWW
I am sure that I should be able to figure this out from all the documentation, but I have yet to find a definitive answer! I would like to use RMI to call a Java method from AS3. However, I do not want to instantiate an object on the Java side, and so I would like to either invoke a method that has been declared "static" in the Java class, or to invoke a method in an object that already exists in the web server (in my case, Tomcat). If anyone has a clue about either of these (or, ideally, both!) then I would really appreciate some pointers. Thanks! Andy
