There are a couple of ways to do it. 1 - In the Paths panel, under Edit Paths, use the Filet tool. It's the lat one in the top row. 2- Choose Modify > Alter Path > Inset path. Click the Outside radio button for direction. Choose a width like 30. The rounded corner (middle button). Leave the Miter Limit at 10. Click OK. You can undo and readjust the perameters until you get the look you want.
Hi Linda, and thanks.
I take it that you don't recall the name of the developer to whom I refer?
No matter I will give your solution a try and see how I get on.
Thanks once again, good to see you are still very much on the scene
The star autoshape has roundness handles where you can adjust this. There are two roundness handles Roundness 1 and 2 which are for the tips and the valleys. Just click and drag these handles for visually adjusting the roundness.
These can also be set precisely using the Auto Shape Properties panel. One of our tutorials has a related demo: http://www.smartwebby.com/free_tutorials/fireworks_tutorials/graphic_design/sunflower_artw ork.asp
