adobe-admin Oct 24, 2011 12:23 PM (in response to nealeh)I haven’t see that happen before. I don’t know if the issue of the duplication is on the Adobe side or Jive side. I’ve deleted the “in the uk” account from Jive. But if the issue is at Adobe, the account may get re-created when you sign in again. Do you have the same password on both accounts? Just wondering how it differentiated between the two during your trial and error session.

3. Re: Weird (and annoying) two profiles on the one ID.
adobe-admin Oct 24, 2011 12:32 PM (in response to nealeh)It looks like you have two Adobe IDs. One is an old one that is your name and the other is a newer one that is your email address. If you sign into forums using nealeh and password it should work correctly. But if you sign in using your email address, instead, you will create a new forum account.

4. Re: Weird (and annoying) two profiles on the one ID.
nealeh Oct 25, 2011 5:49 AM (in response to adobe-admin)That's what is most strange - I always sign-in as nealeh using the same parameters (I use roboform to connect and fill in the sign-in screen so it is always identical). I never did detect a pattern as to whether it connected me as 'nealeh' or 'neale_in_the_uk'.
Still, since you deleted the 'in_the_uk' name, all seems back to normal.
Thanks,
