I can understand that it is under copyright, but confidential ?

minia92 Feb 28, 2012 4:59 AM (in response to Bob Bringhurst)Hi Bob
I didn't find any specific explanation on how to proceed when our certs expired
I think it is just re-newing the Push distri certs and P12 in the new app ID, but I wanted to be sure it's just that, and then re submit the app with those new certs to Apple
Can you please confirm or correct me if I ma wrong?
Also, what happen if we forgot and the certs expired for an online app ? sounds stupid but just to know

Bob Bringhurst Feb 28, 2012 7:06 AM (in response to minia92)Expired certs aren't going to affect your app in the store. There is an option on the Apple dev site to renew certificates before they expire. You can either do that or renew the certificates when they expire. You'll need to download the .cer file from the Apple dev site and then do the back-and-forth process between the site and the desktop utility. The steps are the same.

Bob Bringhurst Dec 6, 2012 7:20 AM (in response to honeydog000001)You can continue to add UDIDs over a period of time. Just keep in mind that any mobileprovision file created before a UDID is added does not include that device, which means the dev app will not launch on that device.
For example, I just recently got an new iPad mini. When I loaded my app onto that device, it failed. I had to go back to the iOS developer site, specify the UDID, create a new dev mobileprovision file, and edit the app to include that new mobileprovision file. Then the dev app worked on the new iPad.
