I know it depends. I work in 30fps typically, or 26 if Im slumming it, but need to really squeeze something down.
I am aware there's other ways to reduce file size besides fps, but didn't know if there was a rule of thumb. Like 30-26-20-16 or some other "tiered" amounts you lower.
Does it always need to be even numbers?
What makes you think that reducing the frame rate will reduce file size??? I've been around Flash for some time now and would never consider lower frame rate to reduce the file size....... seems that if a Flash file has 1000 frames plus content... to play the file you still need all 1000 frames and all the content. Using a lower frame rate only means it will take longer to play through all the frames.... am I missing something??
