Blu-Ray Building Error: "invalid format", Code 13  --Please help diagnose this problem!

      Hi all,

I have a simple encore project that successfully burns a dvd,  image file, and dvd folder.  Now, I want to do the same except build the project for a blu-ray output.  (The source video files I have are hi-def).  I don't have a blu-ray burner, but I still want to produce a blu-ray disc image file, and a blu-ray disc folder such that in the future when I do get a blu-ray burner, I can simply burn the image or the folder to the blu-ray disc. I am using Encore CS5.5 in windows 7.

So, I am setting the project to build blu-ray image file, and I get the following error:

"Blu-ray Error: "Invalid format", Code 13, Note: "Errors in Some PGs: end time of preceding display is set to close to the start of succeeding display set, see trace log for more information".  I get the same error if I am trying to build a blu-ray folder.  I also tried building this project on a Mac (also with Encore CS5.5), but get the same error.  How do I fix this error, or does anyone know what could be the problem?  the dvd menu I have is simple: 2 menus, 1 audio stream, 1 subtitle stream, 1 main video, and 2 small "trailer" videos.

(I can sand anyone the trace log if you wish to see it)

      Thanks!

Hi - I think I have the issue resolved.  I basically found that some of my subtitles were too close together, and so I separated them by the 'standard 5 frames' apart, and everything built fine.  Hopefully in the future if someone else has this error, they can search this post and try this solution out.

BTW, does anyone know if the '5 frames apart' subtitle rule for adjacent subtitles is just an adobe encore thing, or do all professional authoring software programs require the same thing?

Thanks anyway for reading this post.
