I closed some fonts (not Suitcase) and things are getting quite good.
As all the Suite was compromised your suggestion of checking fonts was an straigth path.

John, very interesting, as this morning in the massive OS System problem (mouse almost frozen, pointer slowed, no way to open applications or manage the machine) Extensis, perhaps not in coincidence was trying to install un update.
Did not know what happened with this upgrade as anything was aborted.
