Harm Millaard Oct 29, 2011 1:14 PM (in response to Darren Hall)Darren,
I have no different part numbers on my memory, but there is a clear difference in your case. However, the timings of the modules is the same, and since they are correctly recognized, I think you need not worry about it. I have encountered systems where the differences were much more severe, like one slot being shown as Corsair and another slot as Samsung and they did not cause problems at all. It was only an indication that the sticks were from different factories but all sold as Corsair Dominator.

Darren Hall Oct 29, 2011 11:10 PM (in response to Harm Millaard)Thanks Harm,
I just thought these highend ram kits were hand picked and mached with each other.
thanks

ECBowen Nov 1, 2011 12:24 PM (in response to Darren Hall)Well normally the batches are ID'ed via the S/N's but Corsair may be identifying them by Part number as well. Probably just a different batch or someone did not key in the part number correctly when they were tattooed.
