1. Re: "Save as" error when publishing - Contribute CS5
lainie.strange Jan 30, 2012 8:47 AM (in response to lainie.strange)I thought I'd bump this back up, this is something I posted a few months ago. Anybody see this error before? I still have a handful of my users with this problem. I thought maybe it somehow had to do with the update date automatically feature I have the in the footer of the dreamweaver templates, but I can't seem to find any connection there. Any help greatly appreciated.

2. Re: "Save as" error when publishing - Contribute CS5
Dominic Michael Jan 30, 2012 10:01 PM (in response to lainie.strange)This might come if the Contribute preferences is corrupted. Can you please try clearing the contribute preferences?
How to clear the preference?
Delete the Preferences in Registry -
Open registry [Start – Run – type “regedit” and click enter]
Go to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\” and delete the folder “Contribute 6”
Delete the Preferences in locale –
Windows XP : Go to “C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe” and delete the folder “Contribute CS5”
Windows 7 and Vista “C:\Users\<username>\Appdata\Local\Adobe” and delete the folder “Contribute CS5”
For more details refer to, http://blogs.adobe.com/contribute/2011/11/launch-contribute-freshly-by-deleting-preference s.html .
Note:- Clearing preference is like the fresh installation of the product. All the connections and unpublished drafts will be lost.
