    Dreamweaver 8

    Chrsitian Community Member
I am running Dreamweaver 8 on my laptop with Windows XP - it has been working fine for over a couple of years. Just now it 'disappears' when I click on the shortcut or try to open it any other way. The logo appears on screen for a fraction of a second and then is gone, and Dreamweaver does not load.

I had a similar thing happen with Photoshop a couple of years ago, and I had to hold down several keys when I tried to launch Photoshop in order to solve the problem. Unfortunately I have forgotten that key sequence.

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

If the application is not launching you may need to consider a re-install.

Has anything changed with your computer recently? Any new software or hardware?

Could be a corrupted config file -

Thanks much everybody - I fixed it by doing a systems restore. Unfortunately somewhere along the way I lost my wi-fi driver and it seems to be a hardware problem!

Again, many thanks for taking the trouble to reply! :)
