I am currently learning FC CS5.5 and need to know if there is a way to define the base class for a specific generated skin.
Here is an example of why it is needed:
When you create a button skin in catalyst, intended for a spark button, you get a skin class that is based on <s:Skin...> , for some reason, when you apply it to a button, it looses the icon. I found out that when you change the base class to <s:SparkButtonSkin....> the problem is solved.
Now, suppose you are working on a pure spark project and want all your buttons to be sparked based (hence their skin can be all based on SparkButtonSkin), it would be great if you can configure it to be the base class for all generated button skins.
