Pasting from webpage doesn't paste in styles?

I manage a website where our content editors use Contribute.  I have set up a "styles" page from which they can easily cut and paste some designed content and paste it into a page in edit mode in Contribute.  The problem is that when it is pasted in from the web page, it doesn't take the inline style code with it.  Is there anyway to make Contribute do that?

          Hi Angela,

What you can do is create a .css file which includes all the styles in the web page, and add it to your website. Inside Contribute, in the administration settings for a user in Styles and Fonts, point it to the css file.

Now, the styles would be available to those users. The flipside is, you have to include the css file in all the web pages.

Else, if while copying if the users can copy the styles (as in selecting from source), then you can insert them using Insert HTML Snippet dialog, so that they will get the styes.

JGFARD, yes I resorted to adding the style from this particular instance into the style sheet for users.  But I'd still like to know why Contribute won't copy in the class name used in the html tag, or any inline sytles. (I tried it both ways).   It's odd because it does copy in the alt attribute I provide for the image in question on one such item.
