So I'm using InDesign CS5 on a PC to create an online portfolio. I have it all created and exported to a swf. It seems to work fine when I preview in browser out of Indesign. It even looks good when I wrap it in a dreamweaver HTML file. Opens in all preview in browser versions, but when I try and do the put command to my hosting service, my linked .swfs and my external link to my resume just won't work. I'm sure there are 100 answers out there to this dilemma but I searched the forums and didn't see anything that sounded like my problem. Can anyone help me out?
When this sort of thing happens it is usally to do with the relative locations of the files involved. Best practice here would probably be to create everything in the same directory in the first place and then uplosd that directory, or alternatively to use absolute links.
Hmmm, tried to upload everything to the same location and it's a no go, what's really weird is that the other 98% of my links work fine.
