cc text formatting

I wanted to find out if there is an easy way to add bold, italics, etc. to cc text. I notice when I post from word that the text doesn't paste in these attributes and I can't seem to find an easy way to do this.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe you will be able to influence this. If it were possible, I would expect to see formatting controls where we enter the Closed Captioning text.
