I would like to have relative adjustment in addition to the current absolute value capability in ACR. I would also like to have the capability to store presets with relative adjustment capability. Lightroom has some relative adjustment capability, but I don't think this is availalbe in ACR. This would make it possible to select multiple images that have different values set for the adjustments and adjust parameters by a fixed number of units rather than set all to the same value. An example of a preset with relative value capability is increase contrast by 20 units and decrease saturation by 5 units. I think this capability would speed up adjusting RAW files.
Anyone else interested in this capability, or have suggestions on accomplishing this function with ACR?
If this capability already exists, please show me how to use it.
This appears to be under consideration by Adobve for Lightroom (which implies it will likely be available in all applications that use ACR, but not necessarily). Here is the link discussing the feature request: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/relative_presets_would_save_the_day. You can vote for it there as well if you have not already done so.
Thanks, I went to the site and made an entry.
