How do I specify that all your blacks are 100%.

I have a InDesign doc that I need to specify 100% black for print. The doc has a image that is a black and white qr code, text and a few other images. I changed the text to (black) but for some reason the qr code isn't changing to C=0 M=0 Y=0 K=100  I don't know how to specify that the image be (black). Is there a way to set the doc up to read black  like this C=0 M=0 Y=0 K=100 on the entire doc? When I send it to the printer they say that the qr code is not reading as (black).

Thanks for any help in advance!

      Kindly,
