    question

    DLang24

What do I need installed on my computer in order to read .pdf files?  When I get pdf's emailed to me or try open any pdf file I get a pop up that directs me to buy an online adobe product in order to open the file.  I was under the impression that Adobe - Adobe Reader at least - was so universal that its pre-installed on every PC.  I went ahead and downloaded Adobe Reader from their web site, which it appeared to do successfully, yet I still cannot open pdf's.  Can anyone out there help?

      thanks,

      dave

Can you post a screenshot of that pop-up?  This sounds suspiciously like malware of some sorts.
