It's not clear what you're asking, f.
I know of no reason your background would turn green in your disc menu.
What model of camcorder is your video coming from? When you started your Premiere Elements project, which project settings did you select?
Have you gone to the ATI or nVidea site to ensure you have the latest drivers for your video card?
Hi Stevë: it's a Sony Handycam HDR-CX160 recently bought, below de settings used for the project
I'm usually receiving a message at the time I'm loading Premiere elements, that I have generic display driver and recommend to update to a miscrosoft driver, I used the windows automatic and manaually updated but I still have this message, maybe is the reason why I';m recweiving this message and is related to the green screen?

What is the make/model of your video card?
What is the driver version/date?
The answer likely resides within the answers to those questions.
Dear Helpers: thanks, I updated the drivers and apparently my green scren background disapeared, please give me some time to test if this type of screen appear, and also I'm not having the message of driver, if I've any of this problema I'll cam back
Hi Bill: this morning when I tried to load premier elements the message below appeared again, so I copy it and the info of my video card, I hope this is the info you wanted
