Have you ensured that you have the latest version of Quicktime, per the program requirements?
When you started your Premiere Elements project, did you ensure that you selected settings that precisely match your video and audio specs? For instance, if this camcorder shoots in 1920x1080 with 5.1 audio, did you ensure that your project was set up for Full AVCHD 1920x1080 5.1?
Part 1 of my free 8 part Basic Training tutorials on Premiere Elements support site Muvipix.com will help you with the basics of project set-up -- a vital part of any project.

Yes, PRE supports the files from your camera. The video format from this camera is 1920x1090i 30fps - 24Mbps. And PRE has native supprt for these files.
Can you try copying those files first to your hard disk and then try importing it in PRE may be by using Video Importer (Option mentioning - Flip,AVCHD,Cameras,Phones or Removable Drives)? It may work this way. Please try this and let us know.
Yes, I have tryied to download the files to import to PRE and it works but I would like to know if there is a way similar as Final Cut to import directly from my camera connected to USB
Thanks any way
Option mentioning - Flip,AVCHD,Cameras,Phones or Removable Drives for importing vdeos (Digital Still camera, Phones or Removable Drives - for Photos) might work directly. But I am not too sure about it. I havent tried it.
