Brightness control on the timeline

I;m using captivate 5

I'm finding it really hard to see the time line images due to lack of brightness to them.

Is there a way to adjust this to make it a stronger colour?

You are right to flag this as an issue.  Many of us did similarly when Cp5 came out.  However, there is no way in Cp5 to change these colours.

As a result of user feedback, Cp5.5 employs a much stronger colour scheme for the timeline layers:

Depending on how important this issue is to you, your best bet for a resolution may be just to upgrade to Cp5.5.
