Try installing debug flashplayer - you'll see errors on your live site if there are any: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html.
I believe you want to snapshot a video from other domain - this is ferbidden by default. However, there is one extra parameter you can try. When loading the video file, you should set checkPolicyFile to true on your netStream object.
If I'm right, you should see a Security sandbox violation error with the debug flashplayer.
I 've made sense of badly.
I don't have problems of security, working on my dominion (es. XXXXXX.com) and the video correctly play.
I stop it at second frame and I try to create a bitmapdata.
As says it works with the debug of Flash Professional, reading from the dominion (XXXXXX.com) and succeed in producing the bitmapdata, instead the FlashPlayer of the browser quietly reads the video, recognizes it as flv, stop it where I want, but it stops program at bmp.draw () statement;
I think can be that need some other operation, but I don't know what.
Yes, all you're saying is true, I don't argue. And still, it can be (and I believe it is) the problem I'm describing. You see, bitmap.draw() is a special kind of operation where you want access to particular pixels of the video. This requires the checkPolicyFile = true to be set in your netStream object.
The reason your flashplayer in Flash Professional works is that it's run in the Flash Professional environment as developer. You have all permissions..
The reason you don't see any problem in your browser, is that (I believe) you don't have a debug flashplayer installer in your browser. This way if an error occurrs, it fails silently.
The same thing would happen if you tried to load people's profile pictures from facebook. You can show them on the stage, but if you try to set their smoothing to true or snaphot them via bitmap.draw(), you get this error. And all it takes is to set the checkPolicyFile property to true
u've convinced me, but 'checkPolicyFile = true' on the netstream is not enough.
How can I install the 'debug flashplayer installer'?, for verify the error occured.
my test browser is Chrome
I'm affraid the chrome has some very strange way of handling flashplayer plugin
Try installing it in other browser that you don't use that often. Go to this page: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
and download appropriate installer:
IE: Download the Windows Flash Player 11.1 ActiveX control content debugger (for IE) (EXE, 3.93 MB)
FF / Opera: Download the Windows Flash Player 11.1 Plugin content debugger (for Netscape-compatible browsers)
as u've sayed, Flash debugger give me a Security SendBox error.
with a crossdomain.xml on Host and
Security.allowDomain("*") at start of program and ns.checkPolicyFile = true after generation of ns = new NetStream(nc)
all work correctly, but now i've another prob with any .mp4 generated with Handbrake.
Any movie work correctly, other work only in Flash Professional debug, but not under the browser and Flash debugger stop it without errors after these warnings:
I think that the issue is in metadeta.
does thing think of it?
You know Handbrake?
thanks for all
If the checkPolicyFile answered your question, you should mark it as resolved and open a new thread. I'm affraid I can't help you with this new issue and other participants don't usualy read threads that already have another active participant in it.
