I've been browsing the forums and saw alot of postings with this error
Security Error Accessing url
I have a Flex application calling a webservice sitting on another server, on the tomcat server I'm running my flex app I have put the crossdomain.xml in the %TOMCAT_HOME%/ROOT folder so I can goto localhost:8400/crossdomain.xml without issue
Inside my crossdomain.xml I have
<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<allow-access-from domain="*" to-ports="*" />
<allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*"/>
Everytime I load my flex app I see the 'Security Error Accessing url' error.
Inside FlashBuilder 4 I try 'Connect to Web Service...' using 'Directly from the client (requires crossdomain file)' and this produces the error
'There was an error during service introspection.WSDLException: faultCode=OTHER_ERROR: Unable to resolve imported document at '<url of webservice>'.: java.io.FileNotFoundException: This file was not found: <url>'
I can access the URL via Internet Explorer, but in Fire Fox I run into a proxy issue, can this error just a network issue or is my crossdomain file still incorrect?
The server hosting the webservice needs the crossdomain.xml, not your localhost server.
After after the crossdomain to the server hosting the webservice and the error message now changed to 'Could not load WSDL'
I tested the WSDL using SoapUI and it works fine.
Use a network monitor to see what is going on.
