Your Quadro card only has 512MB so adding it to the text file with the hack you wont be able to use it.
At least for Hardware MPE
... Even though it can use 2GB of RAM as VRAM for a total of 2.5GB it still can't?
I think it needs dedicated, on board RAM. I'm using a GTX 570, with 1280mb of Ram, seems to operate fast enough. If I could buy it again, I'd buy one with 2-3GB or RAM. It might help with the large PSD image issue.
Here is the problem:
CS5.x MPE GPU mode requires a minimum of 765MB of free, unused dedicated graphics RAM just to even work at all. (Do not include system RAM in this calculation.) Unfortunately, the Quadro FX 2700M has only 512MB total of dedicated VRAM. GPUSniffer will respond that your GPU is not supported for MPE GPU mode because it has only 495MB of available graphics RAM, and the MPE GPU mode requires 765MB. So, unfortunately, on your laptop, CS5.x is permanently stuck in MPE software-only mode.
In addition to the software-only mode, even if your GPU did run in MPE GPU mode, any TurboCache feature on such low-end Nvidia GPUs is not supported at all in the MPE GPU mode; thus, anything that has to go to the system RAM is stuck in MPE software-only mode. Additionally, if you have a higher-end GPU with ample dedicated on-board VRAM, if a scene requires more RAM than the card contains, the entire scene gets switched to the MPE software-only mode even if the program is set to the MPE GPU-accelerated mode.
