Using the mobile ViewNavigator, there is a particular view that I do not wish to have destroyed when I push views after.
Basically it is a list and when you select the item, it pushes the detail view, and when poping back from the detail view I want the list to remain exactly where it was.
This was easy to acomplish by setting the view with the list to have the destructionPolicy set to "never" which did exactly what I wanted.
Now, when I pop the view that has the list, I actually do want it to be destroyed and garbaged collected.
How can properly destroy it when it is poped and the destruction policy is set to never?
What if you update viewNavigator.activeView.destructionPolicy before you pop the view?
Not tested, but I think that should work...
That's a clever idea, I'll have to try that.
