You are the first I have heard of that has an ATI card that does not work with CS5.5. Do you have any display when booting your machine? Or do you mean a lack of hardware MPE?
The Quadro 2000 is a waste of money and no nVidia card can steer more than two monitors. You need either an ATI Eyefinity for that or two nVidia cards that use the same driver but not in SLI configuration and designate the fastest one for hardware MPE. If you are looking for two nVidia cards, consider the 570/580 for the primary card and a 550 or even less for the secondary card. Don't forget to upgrade to a better more powerful PSU.
PS. I just noticed you have a Dell. That means no sense to go for a 570/580 for such a system. Two 550's will do, as long as they have at least 1 GB DDR5 VRAM each.
Sorry - It runs premiere pro but only with Mercury playback Engine sonftware only
What does more powerful PSU mean
Thanks for your reply - I am currently looking up the 550 now
Ok PSU means Power supply Unit - I need more power connections to power the card
