I used version 7 for some time with excellent results making slide shows of JPEG files. Since I upgraded to 9 the program stalls out and/or crashes the coumpter (Vista, 6 GB of Ram - same coumputer as used on 7) A friend says that JPEGs have to be dumbed down to no more than 2 MB in 9. Can that be true? By the way, I reinstalled the software but no improvement. I suppose I can always go back to 7, but that seems counter productive. Any suggestions?
It's not the size of the file, it's the resolution that matters.
Make sure any photos you use in your project is no larger than 1000x750 pixels. This is true of all versions of the program.
