I need the trial version for Director mx 2004 not Director 11. Its for class that is strictly using mx 2004 so I cannot use 11. The first time I come to the site to finally get it after all my classmates already got it, I find out 11 just replaced it. That is just my kind of luck. Is there anywhere and any hope for me to get a trial of mx 2004?

      Thanks for any help.

Unless you are working in 3D or have to give your files to your
instructor (which are not backward compatible), I don't see why you
couldn't use D11. From what I have seen so far, the interface and code
base is essentially the same as MX2004. Frankly, for application
developers this is really a ver 10.2 or 3 maybe. Personally, I think
there was more in 8.5 vs 8.0 than 11.0 vs 10. Don't get me wrong, I
love Director and am glad it wasn't abandoned, but as an
application/non-3D game developer, there ain't a whole lot new here.
Correct me if I'm wrong someone, but I am still having April fool
nightmares (thanks to Magicgate) after seeing all the features I would
like to have, but aren't there.
