I don't think that KB article has anything to do with your problem, but I do think this is probably a case where she doesn't actually have the permissions she needs on all the folders. Is she an admin user or restricted?
She's setup as local admin to the best of my knowledge.
I'll make sure to check up as soon as possible and report back with the exact findings.
I have to tell you I've forgotten at this point exactly where to look, but I think you may also need to go into the registry and change some permissions, there, too.
Apologies for the belated response. I've checked, and she is indeed setup as local admin on her pc.
If you could give me some hints or tips regarding search terms, I'll be more than happy to look up the registry changes myself, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for :-)
I'm not sure either -- I just remember seeing discussions here about doing it. I'd google "Access Denied" InDesign and see if anything pops up, or hope someone with a better memory (or who has gone through this) shows up here.
Have you tried a NEW account onthis machine, by the way?
