    ***Animation HELP!***

      Hello one, hello all,

       

      I am working up an iPad digital magazine (hence why I'm here) and cannot manage to get animations to work in my document.

       

      I am simply trying to fade in text onload of the screen.

       

      It works fine inside the Indesign Preview but does not on my iPad or my desktop Content Viewer. To make things worse, when I export the file as SWF it works fine in my browser...

       

      I assume that the animation is flash based and will not work on my iPad and instead I'll have to either use video or some sort of CSS3 transition? Is that right or is there a simple fix?

       

      All and any help, gratefully received.

          Hi Billy

          the animation in indesign does not work on the ipad, as it is flash.

          you have a few options; use the beta copy of Adobe Edge, or buy a copy of Hype, (assuming you are on a mac)

          these are HTML animation tools, or you could write your own code, if you are better than me :-)
