click file/publish settings/flash and tick "permit debugging". retest and copy and paste the problematic line number mentioned in the error message.
Upon attempted execution, after changing the setting you requested, the following is what I get.
ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable lblCoinQty is not defined.
at mcToonInformation_Design/__setTab_lblCoinQty_mcToonInformation_Design_Layer1_0()[mcToonIn formation_Design::__setTab_lblCoinQty_mcToonInformation_Design_Layer1_0:1]

Cannot display source code at this location.
Another thing noticed is that the object that flash is having an issue making adjustments to is visible via the Variables window and has the tabindex property.
start at D:\Wayne\WizardB rewStudios\BackPackBuddys_Dev\BackPackBuddys_CS5_SFSX2\src\classes\BPB GlobalFunctions.as line 167 and follow the code to lblCoinQty.
copy and paste that chain of code lines.
It isn't in the code.
The problem, as I found, is related to the custom framework Base Class assignment that I am using. It extends flash's flash.display.MovieClip object and effects the objects contained within it. Once changing the Base Class assignment back to flash.display.MovieClip from this framework object that error goes away.
I have sent notification to the creator of the framework that I am using.
While the issue is related to the usage of a custom framework that extends some flash objects the expected functionality was proven to work and am sure there was something that I had done to effect that.
In saying that, does anyone have any idea what would cause this kind of error?
