Flash Player version 11,1,102,55 keeps uninstalling itself !

As stated in the topic, Flash Player version 11,1,102,55 keeps uninstalling itself. I DO NOT uninstall it. Whenever my computer restarts, I go to a web page that requires Flash Player, and I have to Install Flash Player. After Installing Flash Player, everything works fine, Until I resart my computer.

I am using Win7 on the HP Touchsmart 300 with IE9. This issue started to occur after the last Flash Player update. I have done a complete uninstall as shown in the forums, and then reinstalled, However, The problem persists.

I have run out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

What files do you have in

• C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
• C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash

before the restart, and after the restart?

This is just after reinstalling flash, I will now restart my PC to see what is in there afterwards.

And yes, I can see that there are 2 files missing in the second directory.

The question is why are they being deleted?

Can you post the content of the FlashInstall.log file from that folder where the files went missing?

And then suddenly today, Everything works without reinstalling? Strange..... No fix was suggested, nothing updated, and yet, flash is still there after several reboots. Hmmm....

Something very strange is going on; every day (except on the last day in the log), the following was executed:

"C:\ProgramData\MediaMall\if.exe" -uninstall activex

I have no idea what that is, but it does uninstall (some part of) Flash Player.
