Nancy O. Nov 28, 2011 11:21 AM (in response to Missteach)You have a lot of competing scripts running on that page. This makes troubleshooting almost impossible.
When testing widgets, try them out first on a plain vanilla page. By plain vanilla I mean no other CSS, no other Scripts, no conditional comments for IE and no Google Ads. Just a bare bones test page.
If the widget fails to work in all browsers then you know the widget is broken and you must look for a different solution.
If the widget works in all browsers, you know the source of your problem is coming from one or more other elements on your main page.
Systematically introduce one script at a time and preview in browsers. Repeat this process with CSS and conditional comments until the test page breaks. Once you have isolated the problem you can make an informed decision about whether to keep using it or not.
Good luck,

Missteach Nov 28, 2011 11:37 AM (in response to Nancy O.)Hi Nancy,
Thanks for looking at it.
There are a few scripts there - they're placed there by Google for the Ads - I can't control their scripts though!
I've used the extension for a couple of months now and, to be honest, it's very 'hit and miss' even if on a brand new site.
I think I'll ditch it and try something else.
Thanks for looking anyway. Incidentally, what browser are you using? A few friends from school (I'm a teacher) can't see it with IE but can with Safari.
All very odd.
Anyway, thanks again for the advice.

Nancy O. Nov 28, 2011 12:21 PM (in response to Missteach)Chrome and Safari both use the WebKit engine so if it works in one it should work in the other.
I could not see your newsfeed in Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera.
In Opera, I received a JavaScript error "the newsfeed URL is invalid."
