    Importing mini dv tapes

I have 10 years old mini dv tapes that were taken by a JVC GR-DVX70, standard PAL, 720x576 resolution, data rate of 28804 kbps, 24 frames/sec, Audio bit rate of 1024 kbps and 32khz audio sample rate.

In which format would you recommend me getting the media - AVI with PE 9 or WMA with windows live photo in order to get the best results?

      Thank You

If you connect the camcorder to your computer via FireWire and use Premiere Elements to capture the video you will get DV-AVIs, the ideal format for editing in Premiere Elements.

Do not use Windows Live Photo to capture your video.
