    Printing a Booklet

    ktcal213

I am trying to print a booklet with indesign cs5.

It is full bleed program for an event so it needs to print on 11x17 but it will not allow you to print duplex on 11x17...how do I print and keep the pages in the order they need to be in so when I fold and put the program together everything is in order?

What won't allow you to print duplex on 11 x 17? Your printer?

          What OS?

Print Booklet will entail 3 unique dialog boxes.

Print Booklet will be the first, use the Print Settings tab from that dialog to set paper size, bleed, crops, color; from that dialog box you would hit Setup to enable Printer features such as duplex. There is a bit of jumping back and forth from Print Settings to Print Booklet dialog to get the page orientation correct. (Also occasionally you might include blank spreads)

Are you saying your printer can duplex, but not duplex 11 x 17 ? If so, from the Print Settings, I would change the printer to the Adobe PDF printer and create the imposed spreads. From Acrobat, print those spreads; but toggle All Even Pages first, reload those pages and then print All Odd Pages.
