I know Actionscript 3.0 is the new standard for Flash CS5. However, my work is largely concentrated in Photography and 3D Modeling. However I also must use Flash for a lot of my work, but do not really have the time to learn AS 3.0. Will I be able to continue using Actionscript 2 as I have for the past 7 years, which no issues or problems in the foreseeable future?
correct, with the understanding the foreseeable future is about 18 months.
So if I am to really have Flash in my toolbox, and know my applications will still be working in 10 years, and my training will still be useful, can I continue to use 2.0, or will I simply have to go ahead and switch and learn 3.0?
I know buying books for training, videos, and online courses are almost all 3.0 now.
