digiday Nov 29, 2011 5:21 PM (in response to able123)Thanks able123,
I just posted a short 'behind the scenes' video highlighting the Adobe Premeire project file that I made to create the music video... it shows the size and scope of the file necessary to create the animation in that video...

Photoshop CS4 was used to composite and create all graphics and characters too.
Thanks again for your kind comments.

digiday Nov 29, 2011 11:23 PM (in response to JSS1138)Hi Jim,
By watching the video you could see the tributes to Lennon and the Beatles via their multiple appearances as the Rocking Horse People, the Plasticine Porters and the train passengers.
I chose Elton John's '74 remake of the song for its length and more orchestrated style. John Lennon actually collaborated, sang back-up and played guitar in Elton's re-make of the song in 1974. I read that Elton performed the song a few times live after Lennon's death, but later said it reminded him too much of Lennon to continue playing it at concerts.
The original Beatles song and video were my inspiration, but a great psychedelic music video was already done for the 1967 version of the song. I wanted to see something that followed the lyrics verbatim and Elton's version of the song had never had an actual music video made for it.
