I'm running Adobe Reader X on a new 64-bit Hewlett Packard 575A under HP's tailored version of Windows 7, and I have the same problem.
Further, I've fouind that pressing OK when trying to print a PDF file corrupts the printer driver (for an old Brother HL-20 printer). After I've tried to print a PDF file, pressing the OK button to print a Word document just leads to the Adobe File Save dialog box. If I remove and reinstall the printer, this replaces the corrupt driver and fixes the problem - until I try to print another PDF file.
Has anyone any suggestions?
The computer is fully protected against viruses.
Disable the entry 'Print to File' in the print dialog.
