I am attempting to use Premiere Pro CS5 on my Macbook Pro (OSX 10.6). It was rocky before bu would often crash. Adobe support told me to install the updates from adobe.com and every single one failed. So they told me to uninstall Premiere and reinstall it, now i can't load the program at all. I'll try to reinstall but i may be back where is started.
Any help on why i can'y update? The error messages were worthless, in the problem box it told me "Failure to install" pretty regularly.
Were you using the automatic, via program update... or did you manually download and run the update files?
All Adobe updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
First off, Thanks so much for the reply, John.
I had tried both way to no avail.
I just realized i may have been ONLY downloading the retail DVD version. Would it amke a different if i did the electronic download? The original WAS from the dvd though.
