      I am trying to see if there is a way to save the filtered bitmapdata to a variable that can then be used in flash. I want to do this because if you draw the final bitmapdata in flash there is a serious performance hit. It would be great if i could write something like parameter image4 filteredImage = newimageBitmapData; I looked at the shaderjob option but that seems to only work if you are already sending it bitmapdata instead of starting with a display object.
