I'm new to using After Effects, so I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out.
So in a previous composition, I was able to create background and text layers and subsqeuntly added a camera. I chose the orbiting camera and didn't have any problems using it.
However, in a new composition, I have basically the same layers and when I click on the composition to rotate the layers, I get an error that says "Unable to orbit camera" but I have no idea why. Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do to make this work?
Incidentally, when I change the camera to Track XY Camera Tool and try moving the layers, there isn't any problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Perhaps some screenshots would help to clarify matters. Sometimes this is caused by using specific layer switches or effects in specific combinations. Otherwise make sure you are using the correct camera view. Using the alternate 3D views would also bring up this warning, especialyl the orthogonal ones.
