Hi,

Does anyone know how to highlight some text and then add a comment to it.  I don't want to add a bookmark.  I just want to highlight some text and put some notes on it.

Thanks,

Scott

Select the text, add the bookmark, add the comment in the dialog.

I'm guessing from your response that there is no way to do what I want w/o making a bookmark?  I really don't want a list of all my comments in the bookmark section.  I just want to see the comments when I go to that page specfically.  No way to do that?

Anottations and bookmarks are pretty much the same thing to ADE ( the difference is if there is an endpoint and if there is text).

ADE doesn't do a free floating text bubble.

Thanks Jim.  Too bad.  Adobe can do that stuff with their Reader.  How hard could it have been to have that same functionality with their ADE?

Anyway, thanks for clearing it up for me.

Best,

Scott
