Welcome to the forum.
First, have you updated the nVidia driver?
Second, besides the SSD's, what are the other HDD's on the systems?
Hallo and thanks for answering so fast,
All drivers are up to date. It even happens, when I put the project on the SSD without using any other HDDs.
Sometimes there are some stripes on the timeline. They disappear after saving with ctrl. + S.
The problem do not appear on an old windows xp 32 bit system (5 year old pc).
I have also Premiere pro CS4 installed. Works like a charm.
Any idea? Thanks again
SSD's are great, and very fast, for reading, but not so fast for writing. Also, with everything on one drive, the OS will be fighting to read and write for its needes, the program, plus the Project - media and Scratch Disks. The idea of using multiple, plysical drives is to spread the I/O load between them.
That is the first thing that comes to my mind.
