PRE10 installer complains no SSE2 found

    Frank Coldwater

when trying to install Premiere Elements 10 x64 on Windows 7x64 it quits with the message that it found no SSE2.

Hm.. I have an AMD X2 x64 dualcoreprocessor which supports not only SSE2 but SSE3 and a bunch of other things too...

I found an kb for Premiere ( http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/332/332478.html ) which says: edit setup.ini and remove some lines. But those lines do not exist in setup.ini.

Any way I can force the installer to install despite this error message?

Or can it be I'm missing some libraries? (or that certain ones are damaged )

      Any tipps are appreciated.
