    Continually experiencing "Not Responding" problem


      I have Toshiba Satellite M305 w/ Windows Vista Home Premium (SP2), Dual Intel Core Processor T6400 @ 2.0GHz, 4.0GB RAM, 64-bit OS.  Since downloading the Adobe Reader X, I began experiencing the "Not Responding" problem intermitently.  It will freeze the screen for 10-15 sec. then it will respond again.  This happens regardless of the program I'm running.  The Not Responding appears at the top of the page I'm running:  Internet Explorer (Not Responding) or Excel (Not Responding) or Outlook (Not Responding).


      Any suggestions on what I should be checking for or is anyone else experiencing this problem?  Thanx.
